After spending few days in both Jakarta and Surabaya, it was time for me to go back to an island.
Also, do you see how tanned I am in this photo? haha
First few days in Bali, I got to stay at the Kayana resort’s private pool villa 🙂
Their pool was very spacious, but they really need to do something with the mosquito situation at villas..
I saw at least 10-20 mosquitoes every night, and had such a hard time sleeping since I was bitten every 10 minutes.
The best thing about staying at private pool villa is that I get to jump into an ice cold water anytime!
Trust me, nothing beats that in unbearably humid and hot South East Asia’s weather.
Loved the room! (minus mosquitoes..)
I just remembered that I forgot to utilize this beautiful bathtub.. 🙁 sad
Potato head beach club in Bali.
The coolest lounge I’ve ever been to in my life!
It’s so beautiful and chill here.
First meal in Bali.
Love, love love ordering food that is healthy and light.
Good morning 🙂
The Kayana resort’s lobby restaurant and a pool.
Starting the day off right with fresh juices and shakes.
Okay, food at the Kataya was horrible.
I’m not going to lie. Everything we’ve ordered were horribly disgusting.
Like this dish.
So fishy and salty.
I usually don’t tell the servers that I do not like the dishes, but I had to tell him that I hated it.
After few bites of horrible food at the resort, we decided to go on an adventure in Seminyak.
The cool thing about Bali is that it’s very artsy and cute.
There were many trendy art shops all over Seminyak.
I really wanted to bring that pink art work back to LA.. and I still wonder why I didn’t!
take me back!
I think Bali is very livable place.
Should I consider moving here and spending few years as an Island girl?
Round 2 lunch at a nice cafe somewhere in Seminyak.
Love eating light and healthy food 🙂
Banana margarita? It was okay..
Strawberry daiquiri. How pretty is this? 🙂
Ahi tuna steak and mashed yam.
I miss dish..
tuna and salmon tartar.
Ending another great meal with delicious desserts 🙂
I loved the ambience of this place.
When I open my own cafe, I will surely decorate the place similar to this.
Lots and lots of tourists..
Bali actually really helped broadening my perspective.
The beauty of this island and great hospitality actually inspired me as an entrepreneur.
Stay tuned for more postings of this beautiful Island!
